Now That Our System Upgrade Is Completed Here Is How To Login Into Online Banking And How To Rename and Hide Accounts
We understand that there may be additional questions regarding our system enhancement. To help ease your mind, we’ve got the answers:
All accounts where you either are primary owner OR joint owner are now visible in one login. This is a feature our members have been requesting for many years and now is available! Each account will be listed showing the last 4 digits after the account type. "Membership" account is the main savings account where you are either primary owner or joint owner.
All the accounts are listed by account type first, then show the last 4 digits of that account number. Once you click into the account you can click on "Details" and that will show you the complete account number.
YES! Inside online banking, on the Accounts list click "Settings" next to the "Transfer" button. This will bring up the list of accounts with editable boxes so you can change the name to whatever will help you identify each account. AND you can also reorder the accounts by just dragging and dropping in the order you wish to see them in. You can also unclick any accounts that you don't want to be visible. Once you've made the changes you want inside online banking those changes will show up the same way in the mobile app. NOTE: You must do the editing inside online banking, you cannot change the names from inside the app.
Your loan bill is generated 25 days before your loan due date. Your amount due shows in online banking when the bill is generated.
By mail, but if you are registered as an online banking user, they will be located under E-Statements, Loan Statements.
1. The following types of Checks deposited in person to an employee of the Credit Union will be available on the next business day up to $5,525.00. Any excess will be available on the 7th business day.
a. US Treasury checks that are payable to the account holder
b. State and local government checks that are payable to the account holder
c. Cashier’s, certified and teller’s checks that are payable to the account holder
d. Federal Reserve Bank checks, Federal Home Loan Bank checks, and postal money orders, if these items are payable to the account holder
e. Checks drawn on Tropical Financial Credit Union that are payable to the account holder
2. Deposits of other instruments made in person to an employee
f. The first $225.00 will be available on the next business day
g. An additional $5,300.00 will be available on the second business day
h. The remainder of the deposit will be available on the 7th business day
3. Longer holds may apply to new accounts
4. TFCU provides immediate availability of funds, based on the depth of the member relationship with us including services used and balances maintained.
Credit Score are unavailable inside of online & mobile banking. Tropical is working to bring this feature back with upgrades!
No. Members with a Savings Account only will receive a debit card that can only be used for ATM transactions. You will no longer be able to make purchases online or at a store. To take full advantage of your debit card, ask us about adding a checking account to your savings and enjoy the benefits of using your debit card to make purchases wherever Mastercard is accepted.
As technology becomes a focus within the financial industry and after extensive member research, we have identified some new features that should give you a better, more convenient and seamless banking experience.
Will I lose access to my account history?
Please be aware after System Upgrade Weekend you will have at least 6 months of account history available to view. For access to any account history over 6 months please view e-statements online or refer to printed statements.
To login to online & mobile banking after System Upgrade Weekend, use your current login credentials from your oldest membership account. Remember if you have multiple accounts, they will all collapse into your oldest account and you’ll be able to view all your accounts in one view.
Those members with Premium Checking accounts will continue to be able to avoid the monthly service fee if you maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,500 or if you have your mortgage loan with us. Another way to avoid the monthly service fee is by having direct deposit of at least $500 into your Premium Checking account only. Please note that you no longer will be able to split the direct deposit between your saving and checking accounts.
