TFCU'S Annual Scholarships
2026 Entry Period: May 18th - 29th
TFCU is committed to supporting students in their educational journey by awarding three scholarships. One grand prize of $5,000 and two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students.
Scholarship Recipients & Awards
We will be awarding scholarships in the following categories:
Grand Prize - $5,000 (reserved for a high school student entering college)
Two Scholarships - $2,500 each
- One will be awarded to a high school senior entering college.
- One will be awarded to a non-traditional student (current college student, adult returning to college, or master’s degree student).
To celebrate, we kindly ask recipients to submit a video or picture representing their chosen school (e.g., t-shirt, hat, foam finger, etc.) so we can share on social media.
Scholarship funds will be sent directly to the recipient’s designated school.
How To Apply

Be a TFCU Member
Applicants must be a TFCU member in good standing on or before May 29, 2026, to qualify.
Submit Your Application
Fill out the application and upload all required documents.

Application Requirements
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Letter of recommendation required
- Either a 500-word typed Essay about your educational goals, how TFCU has supported your finances, and your personal objectives
- Or a Video (30 seconds to 2 minutes) explaining how TFCU has helped you in your financial journey and personal objectives
- Proof of college or technical school acceptance (required before funds are disbursed)
- All application materials must be received between May 18 - 29, 2026
