Do you know someone who should be recognized for doing good deeds in the community? Someone who has quietly gone above the call of duty to help other people, animals, the environment or a local neighborhood?

Tropical Financial has partnered with the Florida Panthers to recognize a 2026 Community Hero and we need your help! Nominate YOUR local hero! One will be selected and Tropical Financial will present them with $2,500 and we will make a $500 donation to a charity of their choice.

Here's How You Can Nominate Your Hero

1 | Submit Your Hero

Complete the form by clicking Nominate Your Hero.  Be ready to share their story.  Tell us about your nominee, their contributions, and the difference they’ve made.  You will have the opportunity to provide documentation including pictures and video.

Nomination deadline is March 6, 2026, so don't wait!

2 | We Review Their Story

Once you submit your nomination, our team will review the story to ensure all the information we need is included. We’ll evaluate each hero based on their impact on the community, the number of lives they’ve influenced, and the compelling nature of their story, and one Hero will be chosen.

3 | Celebrate the Winner

On April 15, 2026, during the Florida Panthers vs. Detroit Red Wings game, we’ll announce the chosen hero. The winner will receive $2,500, have their story recognized during the game, and a $500 donation will be made to a charity of their choice.
